"Disagreeing with the perception in Bangladesh,Prof.Sanajaoba said he had pointed out that the Manipuris had a history that is more than 2000 years old.During a press conference at Dhaka's National Press Club, he had argued for for recognition of Manipuris settled in Bangladesh as a national minority."
*** some manipuri leaders demanded tribal staus for BD manipuris and the professor said that they are far above tribal formations, constitute nation or, national minorities.
